Discover Kingston Community Open House 2025, happening Monday, September 29, from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Village Green Community Center, 26159 Dulay Road NE. This popular annual event, hosted by the Kingston Community Advisory Council (KCAC), brings together over 60 local nonprofit, service, and governmental organizations that serve the greater Kingston area.
Discover Kingston offers a unique opportunity for residents, service providers, developers, and business owners to connect with local organizations, learn about community projects, and explore upcoming events and planning initiatives. Attendees can gather information, discover volunteer opportunities, and find ways to get involved in local clubs, youth programs, and advocacy groups.
More than just an informational event, Discover Kingston is a chance to meet neighbors, network, and build stronger community connections.
Exhibitor registration opens August 1; Registration deadline September 12
Nonprofit, service, and governmental organizations based in or serving the Kingston area are invited to apply to exhibit. Please note: for-profit businesses and political parties are not eligible to participate. Space is limited, and preference will be given to organizations that serve the greater Kingston area.

Active Traffic Management System construction for ferry traffic is here!
Construction of the SR 104 Holding Lane and Active Traffic Management System (ATMS) Project is scheduled to begin on Monday, Sept. 15, 2025, with completion expected by the winter of 2025. During construction, drivers should expect one-way alternating traffic controlled by flaggers at the project site, as well as occasional full traffic stops in both directions approaching the work zone. Work hours are planned from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m., Tuesday through Friday. For more details, visit the project page:

Meeting Information
The Kingston Community Advisory Council meets the second Wednesday of the month at 6:30 p.m. (except in July) at the Village Green Community Center,
26159 Dulay Road NE in Kingston. KCAC regular meeting agendas are posted below.
Meetings are open to the public and there is time on the agenda for public comment. Public comment may be submitted at least 24 hours in advance to be read at the meeting during designated time to
ccooley@kitsap.gov. Please include name, date of meeting and topic.
If special accommodation is needed, please contact the staff coordinator by 12:00 p.m. the day before the meeting.
