June 24: The informational report on Kingston incorporation analysis is now complete. The Board of Commissioners allocated funding in 2025 to hire consultants to conduct a feasibility study to research and provide information on the viability of Kingston incorporation. Analysis topics include financial considerations, revenue options, and comparisons to other small communities that successfully incorporated.

  • PM Work Session: Mondays at 2 p.m. (except the 5th Monday and holidays) in the Port Blakely Conference Room and via Zoom.
  • Work Session: 9 a.m. every Wednesday of each month and 1 p.m. on the 4th Wednesday of each month (except holidays) in the Port Blakely Conference Room and via Zoom.
  • Regular Business Meeting: 5:30 p.m. on the 2nd Monday of the month (except December and holidays) in the Commissioner Chambers and via Zoom.
  • Regular Business Meeting: 10 a.m. on the 4th Monday of the month (except December and holidays) in the Commissioner Chambers and via Zoom.

The Board of Commissioners is the governing body of Kitsap County. There are three members of the Board and each represents one of three geographical districts. Commissioners work to ensure the delivery of services and programs essential to the continued prosperity of Kitsap County and its residents.
