Washington solid waste collection tax (3.6%) added to disposal transactions.

Recycle
Download recycle guide. Recyclables must be empty, clean, dry, and loose.
No bagged recyclables.
Accepted in self-service recycle yard for free: Plastic bottles, jugs, jars, and dairy tubs (no lids)

Paper - mail, magazines and catalogs, newspaper, office paper, phone books, paperboard boxes, etc.
Metal cans (no loose lids)

- Small household batteries (alkaline, button, lithium, rechargeable)
Check-in with staff for free disposal
- Vehicle batteries less than 50 pounds
- Antifreeze from personal vehicles - limit five gallons per day
- Motor oil from personal vehicles - limit five gallons per day
- Compact fluorescent lamps (CFLs) - no limit
- Sharps/needle containers - limit three per day. Follow packaging requirements carefully.
