NE Bahia Vista Road is closed

A slide Thursday night (12/29) closed NE Bahai Vista Drive. The slide, located on the lower third of the road, is about 50’ wide and located about 50’ downslope from the roadway.

There was no damage to the roadway itself, but responding crews discovered a crack about 100’ long at the back of the “tilt-up” at the payment’s edge. Public Works officials are working to bring a geotechnical consultant onsite to evaluate the area and help with next steps. The road remains closed until an assessment is made by the consultant.
