Since 1993, Kitsap County Public Works Solid Waste Division and the Board of County Commissioners have recognized individuals and groups for their dedication to environmental stewardship.
Each year award recipients are celebrated for their work in environmental education, habitat restoration, recycling, litter control, water quality, and more.

Who can be nominated?
Any
business, group, organization, school, teacher, educational program, project, or individual can be nominated.
The nominee does not have to live in Kitsap County, but the work they are being recognized for must take place in Kitsap County.
If your nominee is selected, they will be celebrated at a Board of County Commissioners Meeting in April.
