Our internship program bridges academic learning with practical workplace application, creating valuable pathways for developing future professionals. Internships are throughout the year, aligning with college quarters (12 weeks, not to exceed 16). Great opportunity to direct hire and underfill roles.
The Hiring Heroes Fellowship Program is a 12-week workforce development program that places highly skilled and educated transitioning service members, veterans, and military spouses with Kitsap County in roles that leverage their military experience and skills.

The Supported Employment Program. A younger individual high fiving and older individual.

Kitsap's Supported Employment Program provides meaningful work opportunities to residents with developmental disabilities who otherwise may be unable to complete them within the County’s traditional recruitment policies.

Kitsap County is committed to developing employees' skills and advancing their careers through structured career progression pathways within job families. We also create underfill positions that allow staff to develop the specialized experience and expertise needed for critical roles.
