Program Overview

​Kitsap County is proud of its citizens who have served our country. The county is dedicated to providing information and assistance to our veterans who are residents, especially those in need. ​Kitsap County Veterans Assistance program works cooperatively with the Veterans Advisory Board to host events, offer services, and create opportunities to get involved and support local Veterans and their families in need.

Veterans Administration Disability Claims Assistance  

For questions about filing a disability claim with the Veterans Administration, inquiries about VA benefits, or accessing VA health care services, reach out to the Veterans Administration by calling 800-827-1000 or visiting their "Contact Us" page Contact Us | Veterans Affairs ( to view other contact phone numbers.  You can also find many useful resources on the Veterans Affairs website at Home | Veterans Affairs. To request assistance with filing a claim, schedule an appointment with a Veteran Service Officer by calling one of the following offices that is most convenient to you:
