*Effective November 1, 2016, Kitsap County will require updated medical certification for conditions that last beyond a single 12 month period. If the need for FLMA/WFLA leave continues beyond one year from the date of approval, it will be the employee's responsibility to request FMLA/WFLA information from Human Resources and obtain updated medical certification prior to the expiration date or need for leave. New medical information will supersede any medical documentation previously received.
