Ballots Mail Next Week for August 5 Primary

Kitsap County— Ballots for the August 5, 2025 Primary will begin arriving in Kitsap County mailboxes next week. All registered voters 18 and over in Kitsap County will have the opportunity to vote on a countywide funding measure from Kitsap Regional Library. Voters in Bainbridge Island, Bremerton, the 26th Legislative District and North Kitsap will also have candidate races.

Pre-registered voters who are 17 but will be 18 by the General Election will be able to vote in the candidate primaries.

Drop boxes will be open around the clock across the county until 8 p.m. on Election Day. A list of all 27 locations is available at kcowa.us/vote.

Key Dates:

  • July 28: Last day to update registration online or by mail.

  • August 2 (Saturday) and August 4 (Monday): Vote centers will be open 8:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. The vote centers are in:

Port Orchard: Kitsap County Administration Building, 619 Division Street, Port Orchard, WA 98366
Bremerton: Marvin Williams Recreation Center, 725 Park Avenue, Bremerton, WA 98377
Poulsbo: 911 NE Liberty Road, Poulsbo, WA 98370

  • August 5: Election Day. Vote Centers open 7 a.m. – 8 p.m. Ballots must be returned to a drop box by 8 p.m. or postmarked by August 5.

Voting Information:

  • Voters can check their registration status, view a sample ballot, or track their ballot at VoteWA.gov.
  • Replacement ballots are available by contacting the Elections Office at 360-307-VOTE (8683) or auditor@kitsap.gov.
  • Accessible voting options are available at the Kitsap County Auditor's Office and in the vote centers.
