CHG Hotel/Motel Voucher Program RFP

Kitsap County has released a Public Notice and RFP to qualified applicants to provides short-term, temporary shelter (lodging) for those experiencing homelessness, serving Kitsap residents who have lost their permanent housing and/or need a temporary place to sleep.

2026 Coordinated Grant Application Process (CGAP) NOFA

Kitsap County Housing & Homelessness Division (KCHHD) released a Homeless Housing & Services (non-shelter) Notice of Funding Availability (NOFA) for Affordable Housing Grant Program (AHGP) and Homeless Housing Grant Program (HHGP).

Organizations can find the notices, eligibility requirements, schedule, due dates, and all associated information on the Kitsap County website at https://kcowa.us/cgap.


2025 Kitsap County Point-in-Time Count Updates

The Point-in-Time Count (PIT Count) is an annual survey which gathers information about people experiencing homelessness during a 24-hour period.  This year the PIT Count was conducted at the end of January by volunteers surveying across many locations in Kitsap County.  View the 2025 Point-in Time Count Overview - Preliminary Data (.pdf) report and visit the Point-in-Time Count page for more information about this annual count.
