General Election ballots will be mailed next week

Kitsap County Ballots for the November 4, General Election will begin arriving in Kitsap County mailboxes next week.

State and Kitsap County Voters’ Pamphlets have been mailed and are viewable online at kitsapvotes.gov.

All registered voters 18 and over in Washington will have the opportunity to vote on a proposed state constitutional amendment. In Kitsap County all voters will be able to vote for candidates. Voters in Poulsbo will have an advisory vote about fireworks, Bainbridge Island voters will weigh in on two funding measures and voters living in the North Mason School District will vote on one.  

Finally, voters in the 26th Legislative District will elect someone to finish the final year of a state Senate term.

Drop boxes will be open Friday, October 17 and will be open around the clock across the county until 8 p.m. on Election Day. A list of all 27 locations is available at kcowa.us/vote.

Key Dates:

        • October 27: Last day to update registration online or by mail. November 1 (Saturday) and November 3 (Monday): Vote centers will be open 8:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. The vote centers are in: 
          Port Orchard: Kitsap County Administration Building, 619 Division Street, Port Orchard, WA 98366
          Bremerton: Marvin Williams Recreation Center, 725 Park Avenue, Bremerton, WA 98337
          Poulsbo: 911 NE Liberty Road, Poulsbo, WA 98370

  • November 4: Election Day. Vote Centers open 7 a.m. – 8 p.m. Ballots must be returned to a drop box by 8 p.m. or postmarked by November 4.

  • Replacement ballots are available by contacting the Elections Office at 360-307-VOTE (8683) or auditor@kitsap.gov.
