This May, during Mental Health Awareness Month take action, raise your voice, and help change the conversation around mental health! Mental health journeys are unique, but the strength found within them is universal. This year's theme, "In Every Story, There's Strength," highlights the resilience and diverse experiences that shape mental health journeys within our community. Join the mental health movement! Even if you're not ready to share your personal story, you can still make a difference. Visit the National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI) to learn more about the campaign, share your story, or access available resources.
We're excited to announce the recipients of this year's Commission on Children and Youth; Programs that Prevent and Reduce the Impact of Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACES) request for proposal (RFP)! After a competitive review process, these youth serving agencies have been selected for their innovative ideas, dedication, and potential to make a meaningful impact for youth ages birth to eighteen in Kitsap County communities.
